Booking Your Celebrant

Some dates are very popular in the south west region and to avoid any disappointment it is recommended that you book your marriage celebrant once you have confirmed the date of your wedding.

Although your Notice of Intended Marriage can be lodged at least one month and one day prior to the date, it is always best to have the paperwork completed and your birth certificates sighted so you can cross that off your list.

I provide you with an 80page ceremony guide full of ideas and inspirations for all your ceremony requirements from the introduction to your vows, the asking, ring ceremony to a large range of readings, blessings and sample ceremonies to help you develop your ideas. I will give you a copy to take home when we meet, post you a hard copy or email you en electronic file.

Other Rites Ceremonies

Whether it's a renewal of vows or a child's naming ceremony, which is a popular alternative to a baptism or christening, I have a range of material to inspire a truly wonderful rite of passage for all the family. Tailored certificates are also available for each of these ceremonies.

My Marriage and Commitment Services includes:

• A personal visit with you in your home, accommodation or meeting venue to discuss your ideas and plans and how we can best develop them to meet your needs and wishes.

• We work though your ideas about the words and style of your ceremony and I will leave you with a booklet of ceremony suggestions and readings you may also like to choose from.

• The Notice of Intended Marriage can also be completed at this time (must be at least one calendar month prior to your wedding date) for legal marriages.

• Together we'll create a relaxed, personalised ceremony that you both feel comfortable and happy with.

• On your wedding day my role is to guide and support you, ensure your family and friends participate and enjoy the occasion, and perform your special ceremony with the legal requirements of marriage where required.

• Friends and family are welcome to perform parts of the ceremony, through readings and rituals, provided I perform the necessary legal components with you.

• I supply my own 50watt portable MIPRO PA system for larger gatherings or as required. It also provides a perfect system for your IPOD music selection (cable provided) to use throughout the ceremony.
